The upcoming workshop in Bonn (June 10 &11 2024) holds significant importance for the dissemination activities of the Xt-EHR Joint Action, offering a valuable platform for stakeholders to explore key themes shaping the future of healthcare data interoperability. With tailored breakout sessions covering topics such as interoperability architecture, implementation guides, and data quality standards, attendees will have ample opportunity to engage deeply with these critical aspects. Led by Dr. Schizas, representatives from BMG, BfArM, and HADEA will kick off the discussions, highlighting the collaborative efforts necessary to unlock the potential of the European Health Data Space (EHDS). Throughout the workshop, participants will exchange insights, address challenges, and strategize on how best to integrate and utilize health data across borders.
As the workshop unfolds, attendees will delve into diverse facets of EHDS implementation, including conformity assessment and the adoption of best practices from initiatives like MyHealth@EU. Looking ahead, discussions will extend to dissemination strategies, such as organizing virtual workshops across European countries in 2025, spearheaded by Leaders, NeHA, and UCY. Through collective efforts, stakeholders aim to enhance data quality, promote continuous education in eHealth, and identify actionable steps to advance EHDS implementation. As the workshop concludes, reflections on the day's deliberations will inform the formulation of next steps and foster ongoing collaboration in advancing Europe's digital health agenda.
