Our mission is to lay the technical, governance, and legal foundations for seamless cross-border electronic health data exchange, based on the European Electronic Health Record Exchange FormatThe Commission Recommendation on a European Electronic Health Record exchange format of 6. Over the course of the 30-month duration, the project will

Develop technical specifications, implementation guides, and certification frameworks for EHR systems

Address critical issues such as telemedicine integration, mobile health (mHealth), and the secure use of wellness applications

Support the creation of sustainable policy, legal, and governance models for digital health services in line with the EHDS Regulation

Promote equity, inclusivity, and accessibility in digital health infrastructure and services

Foster regional adaptability, ensuring underserved regions are adequately supported through capacity-building and stakeholder engagement
